PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Super slick surface? Paint it anyway! Fusion Ultra Grip allows for paint to adhere to surfaces that are typically not for painting such as a lacquered surface, laminate, metal or glass.
This water based emulsion increases the adhesion of Fusion™ colours to glossy, hard to grip surfaces. Milky when wet, dries translucent with very good clarity.Test your methods and product combinations prior to applying in order to ensure desired effects. For optimum adhesion, clean the surface to be painted with T.S.P. and sand lightly to roughen the surface.
How to use:
Apply one very thin coat. Allow to dry for 12 hours before applying subsequent coats of Fusion™ colours. Clean up with water.
Because Ultra Grip is so strong, it can hold more texture, so if you apply it heavily with a brush, you will see brush marks, so apply thin and sparingly.
Applying a smooth coat of Ultra Grip™ will create little tiny, (invisible to the naked eye), peaks and valleys in you smooth surface, so it creates a ‘key’ for the paint to adhere to.
When to use:
If you are refinishing a laminate kitchen, Ultra Grip™ is your best friend. No need to go to town on the sanding – although correct prep is ALWAYS advisable – a swift coat of Ultra Grip is what you need.
We like to apply Ultra Grip™ with our Microfiber rollers, (available at your local Fusion Merchant), for a super smooth finish with no brush strokes.
If you want to achieve a more rustic finish on you piece, apply the Ultra Grip™ with a brush as a thick base layer – this is a great look and fantastic method for moving away from slick to hand finished!
If you don’t want brush strokes, a light thin application is the way forward, or use a roller. It’s all down to the look you want in your final finish!
One word of warning – Ultra Grip™ is not for the impatient! You must allow 12 hours for this magical stuff to do its work and cure properly before applying your paint.

SHIPPING & RETURNS
Wallpaper products:
All our ‘stocked’ products are shipped anywhere in Australia within 3-10 working days and all ‘indent order’ products have a lead-time of 2-6 weeks depending on availability on the manufacturers end. If your product is urgent, please contact us for lead-times prior to placing an order.
Dispatch includes for one (1) delivery only by Courier to your nominated address at the time of order. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery and the product is eventually returned to us, you will have to bear the cost for additional delivery at the original cost. Signatures are not required for all deliveries unless specified otherwise.
At White Mica, you are entitled to choose a refund OR repair OR exchange OR credit if the products you’ve purchased are faulty, significantly different to those shown or described to you or are not doing what they’re supposed to do. Please ensure to keep your receipts as proof of purchase.
If products are damaged during the installation process, we do not offer a refund of exchange so please be sure to check your products prior to installation.
When you buy, please choose your products carefully, as we do not provide refunds for change of mind. This is due to the specialty nature of our products whereby most products are ordered in specifically for you.
Paints products:
We DO NOT accept any returns on our paint products particularly the ones colour tinted to order. We do consider exchanges on a case by case basis. This only applies to pre-tinted paints. Product must be un-opened and sealed if a product exchange is approved.
