PRODUCT INFORMATION
Nimbus is one of Dalray's off-white colours, with a soft, cool undertone. Subtle and versatile, it works beautifully as a whole-of-home neutral or to gently define individual rooms and spaces.
- Finish: Soft matte mineral limewash with subtle tonal movement
- Size: Makes approx. 4L of paint when mixed with water
- Breathability: Authentic mineral finish that helps walls breathe naturally
- Coverage: Approx. 30m² coverage (2 coats, surface dependent). A 1.6kg bag makes approximately 4 litres when mixed with water and will cover around 30 square metres with two coats on sealed or previously painted surfaces. Coverage will vary by application technique and will be lower on highly absorbent substrates such as brick, render or unsealed masonry due to increased porosity.

Where to use: Suitable for interior and exterior brick, masonry, stone, render, plaster and most previously painted walls with a matte or low-sheen finish where the surface remains porous.
How to use:
- Mix the powder with clean water according to the instructions provided. Stir thoroughly before use and between coats.
- Apply using a block brush in relaxed criss-cross strokes or a soft cloud-like motion to build natural depth and variation. Two coats are recommended for most surfaces, with a third coat optional for additional texture.
- Using less paint on the brush will generally produce a more textured finish.
Limewash is not recommended for floors or wet environments such as inside showers. It can be used on general bathroom or laundry walls with adequate ventilation, however a sealer is recommended in these areas. Simple step-by-step instructions are included on the packaging.
Surface Prep:
A primer is not required on raw, absorbent mineral surfaces such as brick or render. Limewash can be applied over suitable water-based undercoats in many situations. However, for best and most consistent results across all substrates, we recommend using the Dalray Limewash Primer, which helps regulate suction, improve mineral bonding, and reduce rub-off. On unpainted gyprock or very dark colours, apply a water-based undercoat first, followed by the Dalray Limewash Primer.
Material:
This product is made primarily from hydrated lime sourced from limestone and combined with natural mineral pigments. Natural additives are also added to improve workability and binding. No plastics or synthetic resins are added.

SHIPPING & RETURNS
Wallpaper products:
All our ‘stocked’ products are shipped anywhere in Australia within 3-10 working days and all ‘indent order’ products have a lead-time of 2-6 weeks depending on availability on the manufacturers end. If your product is urgent, please contact us for lead-times prior to placing an order.
Dispatch includes for one (1) delivery only by Courier to your nominated address at the time of order. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery and the product is eventually returned to us, you will have to bear the cost for additional delivery at the original cost. Signatures are not required for all deliveries unless specified otherwise.
At White Mica, you are entitled to choose a refund OR repair OR exchange OR credit if the products you’ve purchased are faulty, significantly different to those shown or described to you or are not doing what they’re supposed to do. Please ensure to keep your receipts as proof of purchase.
If products are damaged during the installation process, we do not offer a refund of exchange so please be sure to check your products prior to installation.
When you buy, please choose your products carefully, as we do not provide refunds for change of mind. This is due to the specialty nature of our products whereby most products are ordered in specifically for you.
Paints products:
We DO NOT accept any returns on our paint products particularly the ones colour tinted to order. We do consider exchanges on a case by case basis. This only applies to pre-tinted paints. Product must be un-opened and sealed if a product exchange is approved.
