Gilly’s Scratch Cover is a scratch repair wood solution designed to conceal scratches, scuffs, and worn patches on timber surfaces. This plant-oil-based formula works by blending colour into the affected area, helping restore the natural look of wood without sanding or refinishing.

Ideal for quick touch-ups, this wood scratch repair treatment revives tired timber while nourishing dry surfaces. It penetrates into the wood to disguise marks, enhance colour, and leave a refreshed finish with a subtle sheen.

Available in Light and Dark, it blends seamlessly across a wide range of timber types. Use on lighter woods such as oak, blackbutt, and pine, or darker timbers like jarrah, merbau, and bluegum. For mixed-tone flooring, the Dark option delivers the best overall coverage.

How to Apply

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.

Application

  1. Tip some of the product onto a clean, lint-free cloth and wipe over the affected area. Follow with another clean, lint-free cloth to remove any excess as it can be a slipping hazard on lacquered floors.
  2. If you intend to use the dark version to restore an area of faded timber, do not wipe away excess immediately. Leave to dry overnight and polish back vigorously the next day. The resin will buff to a good sheen.

Dry Time

10 minutes if wiped back straight away.

Maintenance

Re-apply if affected areas become dull or pale.

Clean Up

Warm, soapy water for hands/cloth.

    SHIPPING & RETURNS

    Wallpaper products:

    All our ‘stocked’ products are shipped anywhere in Australia within 3-10 working days and all ‘indent order’ products have a lead-time of 2-6 weeks depending on availability on the manufacturers end. If your product is urgent, please contact us for lead-times prior to placing an order.

    Dispatch includes for one (1) delivery only by Courier to your nominated address at the time of order. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery and the product is eventually returned to us, you will have to bear the cost for additional delivery at the original cost. Signatures are not required for all deliveries unless specified otherwise.

    At White Mica, you are entitled to choose a refund OR repair OR exchange OR credit if the products you’ve purchased are faulty, significantly different to those shown or described to you or are not doing what they’re supposed to do. Please ensure to keep your receipts as proof of purchase.

    If products are damaged during the installation process, we do not offer a refund of exchange so please be sure to check your products prior to installation.

    When you buy, please choose your products carefully, as we do not provide refunds for change of mind. This is due to the specialty nature of our products whereby most products are ordered in specifically for you.

    Paints products:

    We DO NOT accept any returns on our paint products particularly the ones colour tinted to order. We do consider exchanges on a case by case basis. This only applies to pre-tinted paints. Product must be un-opened and sealed if a product exchange is approved.
